PPGL steel coil-Neutral salt spray test

PPGL steel coil-Neutral salt spray test

The neutral salt spray test simulates the environment of the ocean or the climate of salty and humid areas. It is used to evaluate the salt spray corrosion resistance of products, materials, and protective layers.

In a specific test box (electroplating equipment), the saltwater containing (5±0.5)% sodium chloride and PH value of 6.5-7.2 is sprayed by a spray device, and the salt mist is settled on the test piece to be tested. The surface corrosion state was observed after a certain period. The test chamber temperature is required to be (35±2) ℃, the humidity is greater than 95%, the fog reduction volume is 1~2mL/(h·cm2), and the nozzle pressure is 78.5~137.3kPa (0.8~1.4kgf/cm2).
