Rubber and plastic cotton is a flexible thermal insulation material foamed and formed by special processes, with nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the main raw materials.
– Structural Features: It has a fully closed-cell foamed internal structure with uniform and fine bubbles, which can effectively block heat conduction and air convection.
– Performance Advantages: It boasts low thermal conductivity, high flexibility, excellent flame retardancy, moisture and corrosion resistance, environmental friendliness and harmlessness. With flame retardants added, it can reach B1 or higher fire rating standards. Moreover, the material contains no chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), complying with environmental requirements.
– Application Fields: Widely used in the thermal insulation of pipes and air ducts in central air-conditioning systems, the insulation of pipes and storage tanks in industrial equipment, the thermal insulation of building walls and the sound insulation and noise reduction of buildings, as well as the thermal insulation and sound insulation in transportation fields such as automobiles, ships and rail transit.
– Product Forms: Mainly including rubber and plastic boards and rubber and plastic pipes. The former is used for the thermal insulation of walls, roofs and other parts, while the latter is used for pipe insulation. In addition, there is self-adhesive rubber and plastic cotton with backing adhesive for more convenient installation.
