Flexibility
During the reprocessing of PPGI Coil Sheet , when the surface is bent and punched, the coating film is not only squeezed and bent but also stretched. Therefore, to prevent the film from cracking or breaking within a specific range of processing and deformation, the cured coating film is required to have good elasticity and toughness.
Film Adhesion
Since the PPGI Coil Sheet needs to be processed during use, the surface coating film is also subjected to extrusion, shearing, stretching, and other forces to produce deformation, so the coating film is required to have strong adhesion to the steel plate, especially in the When the base and the coating film are deformed to different degrees at the same time, they still need to have significant adhesion to ensure that there will be no blistering and falling off during processing. There must be matching coatings and strict implementation of process regulations to obtain excellent adhesion. Degreasing, phosphating, passivation, coating varieties and matching, fixed temperature, and time all significantly impact the adhesion.
Corrosion and aging resistance
During use, the substrate is no longer in direct contact with the environment due to the protection of the coating film. However, since water, oxygen, smoke, and other corrosive gases in the environment, such as sulfur dioxide, can still penetrate the surface to form a film and gradually cause corrosion on the surface of the substrate, the accumulation of corrosion products will cause the coating film to foam or even fall off. On the other hand, the coating film will age under the action of sunlight, heat, rain, and air temperature and lose its protective effect on the substrate. Although this is unavoidable, the coating has good corrosion resistance and anti-aging ability, which is the essential requirement for the coating.
Pollution resistance
Furniture, electrical appliances, and other products made of PPGI Coil Sheet may often contact substances such as soy sauce, chili oil, jam, ink, ballpoint pen oil, perfume, shoe polish, etc., thus leaving traces of different colors on the surface. Anti-paste and graffiti issues should also be considered when used as a building material. To keep the surface of the color-coated plate, such as utensils or buildings, clean, it is required that these substances do not contaminate the surface of the color-coated rigid plate. Taking a step back, even after being contaminated with these substances, it is relatively easy to clean without leaving a trace. Obtaining good stain resistance mainly depends on the selection and adequate curing of the coating.
