Prepainted Galvalume Steel Coil–Gloss and chromatic aberration

Determination of Prepainted Galvalume Steel Coil

The gloss of the Prepainted Galvalume Steel Coil refers to the ability of the coating surface to reflect the light projected on it in one direction. The stronger the reflected light, the more glossy the surface.

The determination of surface gloss is carried out with a gloss meter.

When measuring, first use the working reference plate for calibration. First, use the working reference plate for measurement and check whether the deviation between the displayed value of the instrument and the specified value meets the requirements. If the deviation is significant, the gloss measurement must be carried out after the instrument’s calibration.

Color difference measurement of Prepainted Galvalume Steel Coil

The easiest way to measure the color difference of the coating film is to use the visual colorimetry method. A person with normal vision can visually check whether there is a difference in color under scattered natural light. For standardization, the standard light source, the same pallet, can be observed at the same distance and angle. Accurate color difference determination uses a colorimeter.
